Consumer Consent to the Electronic Delivery of Records and Documents


This agreement contains important information that you are entitled to receive before you consent to electronic delivery of forms, endorsements, documents, invoices and other records and electronic form of payment of amounts due related to the insurance policy (hereinafter referred to as "Policy") for which you are applying. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully:

Effect of not consenting to electronic delivery of Policy, forms, endorsements, documents, invoices and other records and electronic form of payment of amounts due:

SynchronoSure delivers notifications and communication electronically and requires payments of any amounts owed by electronic forms of payment including credit cards and/or ACH from your bank to the extent permitted by law. If you do not choose to consent to electronic communications and electronic forms of payment of any amounts owed for your Policy provided through SynchronoSure on behalf of its insurance company partners, SynchronoSure will be unable to issue your Policy.  Synchronosure, on behalf of its insurance company partners, delivers any and all document(s) related to your Policy by electronic means.  

Consenting to electronic delivery of Policy, forms, endorsements, documents, invoices and other records and electronic form of payment of amounts due:

Your agreement is a consent, meaning it applies to all types of records, documents and transactions that may be provided, delivered or otherwise made available to you for your Policy.  When you agree to the terms of this agreement you consent to receive by electronic means, to the extent permitted by law, your Policy, forms, endorsements, documents, invoices, and other records, and to the electronic form of payment for any amounts due for the policy, related to your Policy. Your consent also permits, to the extent permitted by law, the general use of electronic documents, records, and electronic transactions in connection with the administration of your Policy, including the delivery of the Policy electronically, invoicing for premium and any fees, and payment of amounts due.

By selecting ‘Email Notification,’ You will receive an email notification that will contain a link to our secure client portal website log-in page. Once you log-in to your account, you may view online the Policy, forms, endorsements, documents, invoices and other records, save them to your personal computer, or print them for your records. By electing ‘Email Notification,’ you are verifying that you possess the ability to view and download word and PDF documents. If the Policy, forms, endorsements, documents, invoices and other records, is/are in an attachment or accessible via a hyperlink, you must open the attachment or click on the hyperlink in order to access. If the law requires us to provide, send or deliver information in writing to you by a specified manner, such as U.S. mail, SynchronoSure will do so.

Withdrawing of consent to electronic delivery of Policy, forms, endorsements, documents, invoices and other records and electronic form of payment:

You may withdraw your consent to receive electronic notices and electronic form(s) of payment at any time by emailing to customerservice@synchronogroup.com. If you choose to withdraw your consent SynchronoSure will be unable to continue to service your account.  You will receive a cancellation notice or non-renewal notice to be effective in accordance with statutory time period requirements upon receiving your email to withdraw from electronic delivery or electronic form of payment.  Any withdrawal of your consent will be effective only after SynchronoSure has had a reasonable period of time to process your withdrawal and will not affect the legal validity, enforceability and binding effect of any notice you received, electronic or otherwise, before the effective date of the withdrawal of your consent.

Updating your contact information:

It is your responsibility to keep your primary email address up to date so that SynchronoSure may communicate with you electronically.  You understand and agree that if SynchronoSure sends you an electronic communication but you do not receive it because your primary email address on file is not correct, out of date, blocked by your service provider, or you are otherwise unable to receive electronic communications, SynchronoSure will be deemed too have provided the communication to you.  You can email any change request to your primary email to customerservice@synchronogroup.com

Please note that if you use a spam filter that blocks or re-routes emails not listed in your email address book, you must add Synchronogroup.com to your email address book to receive communications from us.

Paper Copies May Be Obtained:

After you obtain access to our client portal you may print and view copies of your Policy, forms, endorsements, documents, invoices and other records, and any other document related to your Policy as long as you maintain a client portal log in.  If at anytime you request paper copies to be submitted to you from our home office and delivered by U.S. mail, you understand and agree that you may incur a records request fee for each communication as allowed under applicable state law.  The document will be mailed to you at the known address listed on your account.  So, it is also very important for you to make sure the mailing address shown on your Policy is accurate and current as well.  

Acknowledgement of digital ability to access Policy, forms, endorsements, documents, invoices and other records and electronic form of payment of amounts due:

When you agree to the terms of this agreement, you also acknowledge that you have the computer hardware and software or mobile device necessary to access the Policy, forms, endorsements, documents, invoices and other records that will be delivered to you electronically, including, but not limited to, the ability to open a PDF file.

Computer Requirements:

To use the services described in this agreement, you must have access to a computer with an internet connection. If you would like to be able to save the Policy, forms, endorsements, documents, invoices and other records that you receive, the computer should have a hard drive or other storage device or be connected to a printer.

Reviewing Policy, forms, endorsements, documents, invoices and other records requires the following minimum hardware and software requirements:
